Day 1: Hanoi (arrival)

Arrival at Hanoi airport . Our driver welcomes and transfers you to hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi (city tour with a visit to the eggshell art and lacquer place – private tour)

Explore the Temple of Literature, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover the rich history of Vietnam’s first university. Walk around the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake, and visit the Ngoc Son Temple, perched on an island in the lake. Continue your exploration at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which showcases the diverse ethnic groups of Vietnam through fascinating exhibits and artifacts.

Visit the eggshell art and lacquer place.

Get dropped off at the hotel.

After that, we transfer you to the airport at for the flight departure to Da Nang. Once arrived in Da Nang airport, you’ll be taken to Hoi An hotel for your stay.

Day 3: Hoi An (visit the town and release paper lantern)

Breakfast at hotel. Leisure in the morning.

At around 13.30, our tour guide picks you up to visit Hoi An town on foot: Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Old House of Tan Ky, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge.

Ride sampan boat release floating Lantern on Hoai river and you can pray for your family, friends…, it is one of the most beautiful customs in the town.

Day 5: Hoi An → Da Nang

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. it’s your leisure time for walking around the Old Town for shopping and relax in Hoi An.

Afternoon, we transfer you Da Nang. Rest of the day is your leisure time at beach in Da Nang.

Da Nang, one of the most popular destinations in Vietnam, is a vibrant coastal city in central Vietnam, known for its beautiful beaches, historical landmarks, delicious local cuisine, and friendly locals. The coastal area offers breathtaking views, beautiful landscapes and stunning beaches, which can be explored by bike or on foot.

Day 6: Da Nang (visit Ba Na hills with Golden Hand bridge)

After breakfast at hotel, we will have a visit to Ba Na Hills. Take Cable Car, which gains 5 world scores, to Ba Na hills station. We will have some stops to visit some famous places: Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French, Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden. Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda.

After lunch at a restaurant, explore the French village or join games at Fantasy Park, which is the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam.

Day 7: Da Nang → Nha Trang

Morning, breakfast at hotel in Da Nang.

Your leisure time in Da Nang until we transfer you to airport for flight to Nha Trang.

Day 8: Nha Trang (leisure)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Spend your leisure time for relaxation at beach in Nha Trang.

Day 9: Nha Trang → Ho Chi Minh

Morning, breakfast at hotel. Your leisure time until we transfer you to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Rest of the day is your leisure time to discover the city on your own.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh (Long Tan – Nui Dat)

8.00 Pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and depart to Ba Ria – Vung Tau (about 90km away from Saigon City).

Arrive at Ba Ria. Our first point to stop is the Long Tan Cross Memorial in Long Tan village. At this site, you may encounter some Vietnamese veterans who had served in this fierce war and listen to them telling about what really happened in the past. You would understand more about the losses and devastated results of the war on the remaining both in Vietnam and in Australia. Then drive pass by the location of Horseshoe FSB (access is not permitted due to the continued presence of land mines) to the Discourtesy Rubber Plantation. Then go ahead to Long Phuoc Tunnels. Like other tunnels systems found in Vietnam, the Long Phuoc Tunnels included meeting areas, first aid stations, and fighting pits.

After lunch, we will continue our trip to Nui Dat – Task Force Base (Nui Dat SAS Hill) with the area of about 4 kilometer radius of the base. Little remains of this military camp today except for the columns of the main gate. The former runway is now a street in the local village, and the old helipad is now a soccer field. We also spend time at the Nui Dat Kindergarten which is built by Australian Veterans for children in the village.

Drive back to Saigon. Tour ends at your hotel around 18.00.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh (Mekong Delta)

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh and head towards Ben Tre. Our journey will include a boat trip along the Mekong River, during which we will visit a family-run business that exemplifies the idyllic rural lifestyle. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through the fruit plantation village.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh (city tour and Cu Chi tunnels)

Morning, we explore the Re-Unification Palace, which was the home and workplace of the president of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War, and played a pivotal role in the war’s end. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of French colonial architecture, and learn about its unique history. Continue your tour at the War Remnants Museum, which provides a thought-provoking look into the harsh realities of the Vietnam War.

Afternoon, we leave the city and drive 60km to Cu Chi, where you can delve into the intricate system of tunnels and explore the Cu Chi Tunnel, an impressive feat of engineering that played a significant role in the Vietnam War. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Once the tour is complete, we will make our way back to the city.

Day 13. Ho Chi Minh → Phnom Penh

Day 14. Phnom Penh → Siem Reap

Morning, visit the Royal Palace and its Silver Pagoda. Next, you will have the opportunity to explore either the Khmer Rouge Killing Field and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. These sites offer a sobering reminder of Cambodia’s turbulent history and provide a deeper understanding of the country’s rich culture and heritage. You can visit the Wat Phnom insteadly, depending on your preference.

Afternoon, we make our way to Siem Reap.

Day 15. Siem Reap (Angkor Tour)

In the morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Before ending the tour today, enjoy a wonderful sunset scenery from the Top of Phnom Bakhen Hill. In the evening, enjoy a delicous dinner at a nice local restaurant in Seam Reap. Watch a Apsara dance show while dining.

Day 16. Siem Reap (Tonle Sap lake) → (Departure)

Monring, your breakfast at hotel.

Start the tour by visiting the National Museum. Here, you can explore a collection of Khmer art, artifacts, and historical exhibits that provide insights into the culture and history of Cambodia.

After the museum, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest lakes in Asia. This is an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the lake and see some of the local fishing villages and floating communities that call it home.

After the lake tour, head to downtown to visit Artisan’s D’angkor, the carving art school, where you can witness the intricate art of stone carving and other traditional crafts. Next, continue your visit to Wat Thmei, a beautiful pagoda that is known for its memorial stupa that contains the skulls of Khmer Rouge victims.

Your leisure time until we transfer you to airport for flight back to Australia.
