Day 1 – 28 Dec: Ho Chi Minh (Arrival)

Please be ready around 2.5 to 3 hours at the airport before your departure time to check – in your flight. Take a flight to Singapore (depart at 06:40 AM – SQ 224) then take connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh (depart at 13:50 PM – SQ 184).

Arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport at 15:05 PM, our driver welcomes and transfers you to hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is your leisure time for walking around the city for shopping and relax.

Day 2 – 29 Dec: Ho Chi Minh city → Mekong Delta

Breakfast at hotel.

At 08:00 AM – pick you up at your hotel, then transfer to My Tho by bus (1.5 hours). On the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. Upon arrival in My Tho, we will take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat takes you to a small canal, where you can totally escape from the busy town. The boat cruise takes you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste the honey tea, honey wine and listen to Vietnamese traditional music, performed by the villagers.

Stop by the village coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, and see some handicraft made out of coconut trees. Take a walk through the village and admire the fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, children and people. Then, we head to the local restaurant. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food at here.

After lunch, relax, go for a walk or bicycle around the area. We’ll then travel back to the river ferry and head back to Saigon by bus, arriving at around 17:30 PM.

Day 3 – 30 Dec: Ho Chi Minh (City tour + Cu Chi tunnel) → Hoi An

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) as you will be back to this hotel to take luggage and wait for pick up to airport.

At 08:00 AM, ‭Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. 

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Have lunch at restaurant in HCM city. 

In the afternoon, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known Landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. 

Back to the hotel. End trip, drop you off at the hotel.

Then our driver transfer you to airport for flight to Da Nang. Upon Da Nang airport, our driver picks up and transfers you to hotel in Hoi An for your stay.

Day 4 – 31 Dec: Hoi An (My Son Sanctuary)

Breakfast at hotel.

At 08:00 AM, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, your free time to explore Hoi An ancient town.

Day 5 – 01 Jan: Hoi An (Ba Na Hills) → Hanoi

Enjoy breakfast then check out the hotel.

At 08:00 AM Our driver and a tour guide pick you up at hotel lobby. Reach Ba Na Hills via Cable Car.

Spend your time on the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit Dream Stream Cable car Station and see the panorama of Quang Nam – Danang City on high.

After finishing the first cable car, you will visit The Golden Bridge – which has the most exotic structure and also the world’s most prominent pedestrian bridges highlighted by the British Guard newspaper, France wine cellar, Le Jardin D’amourn(consists of 9 gardens)… Linh Ung pagoda.

Continue the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village – enjoy Street Music, watch Art’s statue , Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome … Challenge the most popular adventure ride – Slide of Tube Car (free ride)…

Lunch at Restaurant (Buffet)

15:00: Return to the Cable Car for leaving Ba Na Hills

16:45 – 17:45: Our driver brings you to airport for flight to Hanoi. Once arrived in Noi Bai airport, you’ll be taken to hotel for your stay. Enjoy your night in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Day 6 – 02 Jan: Hanoi → Ninh Binh (Tam Coc + Mua caves)

Breakfast at your hotel.

At 08:00 AM – Our driver and a tour guide pick you up at hotel lobby.

First, visit Tam Coc, enjoy hours of excursion by small boat along the Ngo Dong River, beginning at the village of Van Lam and proceeding through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst towers. The route includes floating through Tam Coc – the three natural grottos (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), the largest of which is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water. The boats are typically rowed by one or two local women who also sell embroidered goods. 

Have lunch at local restaurant. 

Afternoon, we’ll visit Mua Caves viewpoint or (Hang Múa) one of the most attractive tourist places in Ninh Binh recently one of the most attractive tourist spots near Hanoi. Ninh Binh and its karst surroundings. There are many beautiful tourist spots around Ninh Binh town mostly in Trang An scenic complex one of these places in this complex are the Mua caves hang múa and its peak mountain which is a fascinating view of the nearby surroundings this is one of the most visited places in the area that you should not miss there are about 500 steps on the 2 peaks and viewpoints the highest viewpoint is the Lying Dragon Mountain (Núi Ngoạ Long) with its stone statue of Quan am (The Goddess of Mercy this is also a popular selfie spot in Ninh Binh). 

Back to Hanoi for night stay.

Day 7 – 03 Jan: Hanoi → Halong bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

At 08:25 – 08:35 AM , our guide Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus.

11:45- 12:00 – Welcome at waiting room 26 Tuan Chau harbour in Halong Bay

12:00. You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Sapphire Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

13:15  While our boat starts to cruise ,  enjoy the special lunch of fresh  seafood and vietnamese food  cooked by one of the best Chef in halong bay . 

15:00  After cruising for nearly 2 hours to explore the tranquil Bay , passing by thousands of islands and islets , the boat reaches the best area to do kayaking to see a lot of amazing limestone karst landscapes . Our boat will not bring you to the crowded and tiny beach for swimming . Our boat will stop in the middle of the Bay so that you can have chance to jump into water , take a backflip or somersault ..

16:30  Keep cruising to admire the stunning beauty of the Bay from our Sundeck where you can capture great  photos

17:00  Attend the cooking class opened right on the Sundeck , our guide will show you how to prepare and make our vietnamese traditional dish that is spring roll

17:45  Join the Sunset party , enjoy fresh fruit , making friends with other members in the group , listening to soft and light music.

19 :00  Enjoy the special Dinner with fusion food prepared by the excellent skills of decoration of our Chef .

Day 8 – 04 Jan: Halong bay → Hanoi

• 05:45 – The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.
• 06:30 – Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
• 7:00 – 8:15 – Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
• 09:15-9:30 – Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.
• 09:45 Enjoy your brunch on the boat.
• 11:00 you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
• 11:45 Tour ends at TuanChau habour in Halong
• 15:00 – 15:30 PM – drop off your hotel.

Rest of day is your leisure time in Hanoi.

Day 9 – 05 Jan: Hanoi → Sapa (Fansipan)

Morning, you will check out and we will ask hotel to arrange breakfast boxes to take away for you. Please ask receptionist for the boxes.

Around 06:30 – 06:45 AM, transfer to Sapa by the modern sharing limousine (6 hrs driving). On arrival, have lunch at restaurant. 

Then, you will get transferred to the Sapa Cable Station for a very amazing trip to Indochina’s Rooftop – Mount Fanxipan by cable car. This is particularly interesting in these northern mountains of the country, where travelers seek the rice terraces and traditional arts of minority peoples. Cultivating the land to an altitude of around 2,200 meters are the ethnic minorities the lowland Vietnamese generically call ‘Meo’ – savages – and above them looms the bulk of Hua Xi Pan: “giant protruding rock”. Take the train to reach the rocky peak of The Roof of Indochina. Below you spread the foothills of the Himalayas, blanketed with rainforest and the first tendrils of fog. 

Back to Sapa town for night stay.

Day 10 – 06 Jan: Sapa (visit Lao Chai, Ta Van Village) → Hanoi

Breakfast at your hotel. 

For 4 people joining tour – At 08:00 AM, travel on the road down the valley Sapa about 07 kilometers to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. It is a nice ride with great views of the lush terraces. In this village, you will have welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact with them, and learn about their culture and customs. there, you will follow the valley for a few miles to the next town of Ta Van. 

Along the way, you will walk through terraced rice fields and among some picturesque villages, and experience a bit of rural life. Ta Van is a village of Giay people, who look more like the traditional Viet living in the Red Delta. As you walk through different hill tribe villages (Hmong and Dao people), it’s helpful to have a guide to explain customs or practices to you and perhaps translate. You’re sure to see other tourists on the trail (which puts many people off), but this is an excellent example of the many great treks in the area. 

The other 5 people stay in the town and have free time to relax (lunch and tour guide are excluded).

Back to hotel and get on limousine van at 14:30 PM to get back to Hanoi.

Day 11 – 07 Jan: Hanoi (Departure)

Morning, your breakfast at hotel.

Check out by 12:00 PM. Your leisure time to explore Hanoi Old Quarter, You can also try local cuisine or shopping until 14:30 PM we transfer you to airport for flight to Singapore (depart at 18:25 PM – SQ 193) then take connecting flight to Perth (depart at 00:25 AM – SQ 225).
