ITINERARY
Day 1 – 01 May: Hanoi (Arrival)
Arrival at the airport in Hanoi at 14:00 PM – QR976, our driver welcomes and transfers you to hotel.
Rest of the day is your leisure time for walking around the Old Town for shopping and relax in Hanoi.
Around 16:30 PM, you take a taxi or walking to Lotus Water Puppet theater (16 Le Thai To street or 79 Hang Trong street) enjoy water puppet show at 17:15 PM.
At 18:30 – 19:00 PM, your welcome Dinner will be set up at Cinnamon restaurant (no 8 Hang Buom Street), you can walk there.

Day 2 – 02 May: Hanoi → Mai Chau
Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Mai Chau trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

7:30 – 10:45 On the way of the winding pass as silk. You will see be Living space of the Local Muong, Thai is interwoven between the Valley and the mountains along the way.
10:50 -11:30 Stop at the top of Thung Khe Pass to admire the panorama of Mai Chau Valley especially you will feel interested when visiting the temporary local market where selling products of the Muong ethnic people at the top of the pass.

Day 3 – 03 May: Mai Chau → Pu Luong Nature Reserve → Hanoi

8:30-10:30 – Drive 35km to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, we will stop on the way to see chopsticks factories and take photos sometimes.
10:30 – 12:30 – Arrive to Pu Luong Nature reserve, we will take a short break for 10 minutes before start to do trekking and explore a beautiful scenery of the mountains and stunning rice terraces
12:30 – 15:30 – Enjoy Lunch in the village and take a rest before we restart trekking then drive back to Mai Chau.
15:30 – Get on the van/bus to drive back to Hanoi.

09:00 – Back to Royal Palace Cruise for check-out. Keep cruising towards Ha Long Bay, passing by hundreds of islands and islets with different shapes depending on your imagination.

10:30 – Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor.

Day 6 – 06 May: Hanoi (City tour) → Hue

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.
09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world.

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 centurry.
15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”

Day 7 – 07 May: Hue (city tour) → Hoi An
Breakfast at hotel.
08:00 – 08:30 AM, our driver and guide pick you up and start the tour. Get on the dragon boat , go along the Huong river to enjoy the fresh atmosphere and peaceful beauty of Hue on the way to Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest pagoda here.
After visiting Thien Mu, we get on the car and go to the Citadel to see the living, working, worshiping and relaxing areas of Nguyen Kings’family, the last royal family in Viet Nam.
The last stop in the morning is Dong Ba market, before we head to the restaurant for lunch. Lunch time at My Home restaurant is a great time to savour the best Hue traditional foods and some royal tea while having your feet relax in herbal water after the meal.
In the afternoon, we will visit two royal tombs Minh Mang and Khai Dinh with traditional architecture and French-influenced style, respectively.
We will take a 10-min trip on car to Thuy Xuan conical hat village to visit a local family who produce the traditional hat and incent.
You can have many photos taken with creative decoration from colorful incent sticks made by people here.
16:30pm. tour is finished and we get on car, come back to the hotel.
After that, our driver transfers you to Hoi An.

Day 8 – 08 May: Hoi An (Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary)

07:30 – 08:00 AM, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Day 11 – 11 May: Ho Chi Minh (City tour & visit Cu Chi Tunnels)
Breakfast at hotel.
07:30 – 07:45 AM, Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.
Return to Ho Chi Minh.
Have lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral (Or Tan Dinh Church), the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Day 12 – 12 May: Ho Chi Minh → Mekong Delta
Breakfast at hotel then check out your hotel, you need to bring all luggage as you will be transfer to Chau Doc after that.
07:30 – 07:45 AM, Our guide pick you up in Ho Chi Minh City, then depart for Cai Be.
Upon arrival, take a boat ride and explore on the Tien River. Experience the area’s diversity and lush orchard gardens, known as the fruit basket of the Lower Mekong River. Venture through charming villages, discovering ancient houses and indigenous culture. Visit a family business producing coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Taste fresh fruit, enjoy Southern Vietnamese folk music, and paddle through scenic canals in the Upper Mekong Delta.
Lunch offers a chance to prepare and relish Vietnamese specialties amidst a local garden, engaging with the community. Cycle through orchards, interact with islanders for insights into daily life, and visit Ba Kiet’s ancient house. Return by boat to Cai Be, then commence the journey to Can Tho City for an overnight stay.

Around 06:00 AM, start the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a leisurely boat ride to explore the scenic tributaries of the Hau river and a visit to the lively Cai Rang Floating Market. Embark on a walking tour of a local noodle factory and visit the Munir Ansay Pagoda, a renowned Khmer temple known for its unique architecture. Next, travel by boat to the Con Son tourist area to tour the fruit plantation and indulge in seasonal fruits.

Day 15 – 15 May: Phnom Penh (City tour) → Siem Reap
Morning, your breakfast at hotel.
At 08:30 AM, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison) which serve as a testament to the crimes of the Khmer Rouge (From 1975–1979). After that, visit the opulent Royal Place, home to Cambodia’s Royal family, and its Silver Pagoda. After lunch on your own, take some minutes at Independent Monument for photo taking.Continue your visit at The National Museum with its superb collection of Khmer art. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
The last place to visit today is Wat Phnome, the most famous buddhist temple in Phnom Penh.
Get a transfer to Siem Reap by Larryta bus departs 15:30 PM (The transfer takes approximately 5-6 hours).

Day 16 – 16 May: Siem Reap (explore Angkor)

08:00 – 08:30 AM, Our guide picks up you to visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

Day 17 – 17 May: Siem Reap (Tonle Sap Lake & Departure)

08:00 – 08:30 AM, start the tour by visiting the National Museum. Here, you can explore a collection of Khmer art, artifacts, and historical exhibits that provide insights into the culture and history of Cambodia.
After the museum, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest lakes in Asia. This is an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the lake and see some of the local fishing villages and floating communities that call it home.
After the lake tour, head to downtown to visit Artisan’s D’angkor, the carving art school, where you can witness the intricate art of stone carving and other traditional crafts. Next, continue your visit to Wat Thmei, a beautiful pagoda that is known for its memorial stupa that contains the skulls of Khmer Rouge victims.
