Day 3 – 25 Sep: Siem Reap (visit the Angkor Complex)

At 08:00 – 08:30 AM, Our guide picks up you visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

Day 4 – 26 Sep: Siem Reap (Kompong Khleang Floating Village & Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary)

6:00 AM – 7:00 AM: You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Siem Reap. It’s about a 1.5 to 2-hour drive to Kompong Khleang, located on the eastern shore of Tonle Sap Lake.

7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Arrival at Kompong Khleang Floating Village
This is one of the largest and most authentic floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake. The village is known for its wooden stilt houses and vast community, where families live and work.

  • Boat Ride: Upon arrival, you’ll take a traditional boat ride through the village and surrounding lake. As you sail, you’ll see floating homes, schools, markets, and even fish farms. Depending on the water level (which fluctuates seasonally), you might also have the chance to visit floating homes that rise and fall with the water level.
  • Interaction with Locals: Some tours may allow you to interact with the villagers and learn about their way of life. You’ll also get the opportunity to visit a local house or see community-based projects.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Visit to Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary
After visiting the floating village, head towards Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary. The bird sanctuary is located on the western side of Tonle Sap Lake and is about 1 to 1.5 hours away by boat.

  • Arrival at Prek Toal: Upon reaching the sanctuary, you’ll explore the lush wetlands, mangrove forests, and reed beds that are home to many rare bird species.

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Bird Watching & Nature Tour

  • Bird Watching: Prek Toal is one of Southeast Asia’s most important bird sanctuaries, famous for its large colonies of endangered species like the Great White Pelican, Bengal Florican, and Purple Heron. A guide will assist you in spotting birds, and you’ll likely observe them nesting or feeding in the area.
  • Nature Walk & Education: During your time at the sanctuary, you may take a guided walk through the nature trails, learning about the diverse flora and fauna of the area. You’ll also get insights into conservation efforts and the environmental challenges facing the area.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Lunch at a Local Restaurant
After bird watching, enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant near the sanctuary, offering traditional Khmer dishes. The food typically includes fresh fish from the lake, rice, and vegetables, giving you a taste of the local cuisine.

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Return Boat Ride
After lunch, you’ll return to the boat and make your way back to the shore. On the way back, you can continue to enjoy the views of Tonle Sap Lake and the surrounding countryside.

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: End of the tour, transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 5 – 27 Sep: Siem Riep → Phnom Penh (Cruise embarkation)

Have early breakfast at your hotel. 

Get on our limousine van at 08:30AM ahead to Phnom Penh. Board your Victoria Mekong Cruise at 04:00 PM and meet your crew. Before dinner, take in a lively performance of Khmer Apsara dancing with the opportunity to meet the performers afterward.

Day 6 – 28 Sep: Phnom Penh – Tan Chau – Vam Nao

As the ship cruises towards the Cambodia–Vietnam border, start the day with early exercise on the Sky Deck, followed by breakfast. Choose from onboard activities like a ship tour, mini-golf, or simply enjoy the scenery as we cross the border.

After lunch on board, the ship sails into Vietnamese waters and anchors near Tan Chau. Tenders sampans to cruise through the floating village to watch a special way the people in the Mekong Delta raise freshwater fish under their stilts. Get your first glimpse of the Vietnamese countryside. Return to the ship for a traditional Vietnamese lion dance, followed by dinner and evening entertainment.

Day 7 – 29 Sep: Vam Nao – Tiger Island – Long Xuyen

Breakfast at hotel.

Wake up to another leisurely breakfast in Phu Tan, the provincial capital of An Giang in the Mekong Delta. Tender ashore to visit a craft village famed for handmaking Ca Rang clay stoves.

During lunch, the ship sails on before anchoring near Tiger Island. Head ashore by sampan to another village, learning about the ways local people make plant pots and grow ornamental bonsai plants. Take a walking tour through rice fields or vegetable gardens, stopping over to visit Mr. Tiger’s Temple to hear the island’s story. Return onboard in time for a cocktail competition and evening entertainment.

Day 8 – 30 Sep: Long Xuyen – Dinh Yen – Can Tho

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast as the ship cruises towards the provincial capital of Long Xuyen. Wander by sampan around the Long Xuyen Floating Market, meeting habitants on floating houses and learning about their life on the water.

Enjoy lunch onboard as we cruise to the village of Dinh Yen, where you’ll observe colorful straw mats being woven on mechanized looms.

Return to the ship and cruise to Can Tho. Enjoy a traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music performance known as “Đờn ca tài tử”.

Day 9 – 01 Oct: Can Tho – Cai Be – Sai Gon

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace of Claypot Restaurant with time to enjoy the view from the pool or your private balcony before disembarkation.

Accompanied by your local guide, board a coach for Cai Be, where lunch is served at the elegant Le Longanier Restaurant, set amidst lush fruit trees by the river.

Continue to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving mid-afternoon at ÊMM Hotel Saigon. After the tour, transfer you to your hotel

Day 11 – 03 Oct: Hoi An (City tour)

About 2:30 pm: ~ Our guide will meet you at your hotel in Hoi An City Center and start the Hoi An City Tour.

– Firstly, you’ll visit Hoi An Market which is always bustling. It offers an unmissable shopping experience. This market is full of sights, colors, sounds and smells. Next to Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while visiting the family altar and watching local devotees making offerings. You will see remarkably well-preserved old houses: Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House

– That have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all around the world. After that, going to Museum of Folk Culture in Hoi An

– A display of artifacts depicts ancient local daily life in a 150-year-old Chinese merchant house. Especially, you will enjoy art shows at Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House.

– Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge spans a small waterway and was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.

– Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and artwork galleries. Discover smaller laneways and local neighborhoods gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.

– Enjoy your time with the boat ride and release the flower lantern to pray for the lucks to you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street.

Day 13 – 05 Oct: Hoi An (Marble Mountain tour)

Around 07:30 – 08:00AM, Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart from Hoi An to visit Marble Mountain– also known as Ngu Hanh Son, is the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. There are many beautiful caves, pagodas, temples,…. All of the mountains have cave entrances and numeros tunnels. Several Buddish sanctuar-ies can also be found within the mountains. The Marble Mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas. And then we will come back local family for Vietnamese lunch.

After lunch, we continue to visit Am Phu Cave. We will learn many interesting philosophies of buddhism. The scenes of horror mentioned- above intend to educate human beings about doing good deeds in life and to “turn over a new leaf” to stop a bad habit or make a positive change to their characters.

Next stop Monkey Mountains, we will enjoy panorama view of Da Nang from high position. You will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the biggest pagoda in Da Nang city and the highest lady Buddha statue in Vietnam. End tour and transfer you to hotel in Hoi An.

Day 14 – 06 Oct: Hoi An Hanoi → Sapa

Day 15 – 07 Oct: Sapa (Motorbike tour)

At 09:00AM, On this trip you will trek along Muong Hoa River, sneaking through the valley near Sapa town, which is surrounded by huge rice paddy terraces. On the way you will learn more about how the rice is cultivated, from when the seed sowed to when it is harvested, until being served as cooked rice on your dinner table. The night you spend in Tavan village, the unique village in Sapa area where the Giay minority live, will be an excellent experience.

Met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and driver for a short road transfer heading to Sâu Chua village. Here, you can admire the stunning scenery of a village off the beaten path, far away from the hustle and bustle lifestyle.

Then, you head to Muong Hoa Valley. You will pass through Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will spend the night in the local house of the Giay minority. You will be able to take a walk to enjoy the valley view as well as swim in the river nearby.

Day 16 – 08 Oct: Sapa (Fansipan) → Hanoi

At 09:00AM, After one day exploring villages around Sapa, we will conquer the Fansipan Mountain today. This is considered the ‘Roof of Indochina’.
The whole journey is filled with breath-taking views, making it become a must-visit place in Sapa. You will be able to experience the bewitching starting points, incredible cab car ride, and pristine pagodas. The sight on the summit of the mountain with captive the heart of all visitors who come to this land
After tour transfer you back hotel, 14:00 transfer you back Hanoi.

Day 17 – 09 Oct: Hanoi  Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu – Tam Coc)

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Ninh Binh tour as you will be back to this hotel to go to the airport

At 07:00AM, Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi. Head the south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh. First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have quick visit two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen… to know why Hoa Lu was build as capital of Vietnam in ending of nine century.

Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.

Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.
