Day 2 – 15 Apr: Vientiane (city tour)

Pick-up: 08:30AM

We begin our tour by visiting the serene Wat Sisaket, one of the most beautiful temples in the capital. Continue on to the nearby Wat Phra Keo. Used as a religious museum, Wat Phra Keo displays a collection of both Lao and Khmer works of art. Next, we visit COPE, an association working to help landmine victims. Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we stop at the Patuxay monument, Laos’ version of the Arc de Triomphe. Continue out visit at Pha That Luang, the holiest site in Laos. We drive out of the city to visit the Buddha Park which contains numerous religious images. Back to the city.

Day 3 – 16 Apr: Vientiane → Vang Vieng

Pick-up: 08:30AM

Morning, we drive to Vang Vieng. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, we will first stroll around the town to visit the local market to catch a glimpse of everyday life in a typical Lao rural area.
After breakfast, we visit the famous Tham Jang Cave, which was used by the local people as a refuge from Chinese invaders 200 years ago.

From there, we will drive further to Tham Nangfa or Angel Cave, which is filled by the huge limestone formations and has spectacular stalactites in various unique formations.
You have ample time to visit Blue Lagoon, which is a great spot to relax and cool off before transferring back to Vang Vieng.

Day 4 – 17 Apr: Vang Vieng (discovery)

Pick-up: 08:30AM

After breakfast, our songthaew driver will take you 14 km north to the amazing Tham Xang (Elephant Cave), located on the banks of the Nam Song River. This important Buddhist temple is named for its remarkable limestone formations resembling elephants.
Next, we head to the nearby Tham Hoi (Snail Cave), which winds deep into the mountains. We’ll spend 45 minutes exploring its numerous long corridors and stunning limestone formations.
We will also explore the Loop Cave, known for its impressive stalagmite formations, before continuing on to Tham Nam (Water Cave). At Tham Nam, a cool spring pool lies at the cave’s mouth, making it a perfect spot for a refreshing swim. We’ll tube through the water-filled cave,
which is crystal clear during the dry season.
After this, we trek 2 km to the Hmong village of Phathao, passing through rice paddies and vegetable gardens. Upon arrival, transportation will take us back to Vang Vieng.

Day 5 – 18 Apr: Vang Vieng → Luang Prabang

Morning, breakfast at hotel. Spend your leisure time to explore the city on your own.

Around at 12:55, We then transfer out to the train station to take the speed train to Luang Prabang at 14:27 (ABOUT 1 hour). Upon arrival at 15:30, transfer to your hotel in town.

Day 6 – 19 Apr: Luang Prabang (city tour )

Pick-up: 08:30AM

Begin your day with a visit to a community-based rice farm near Luang Prabang, where you can participate in farming activities or observe from a traditional Lao rice house. Explore nearby artisan workshops and learn about traditional medicine in an organic garden.

In the afternoon, visit the stunning Kuang Si waterfalls, perfect for swimming, followed by a stop at the Bear Rescue Center.
End your day at the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, where artisans create high-quality fabrics, before returning to your hotel in Luang Prabang.

Day 7 – 20 Apr: Luang Prabang (boat trip)

Pick-up: 08:30AM

After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum, built in 1904 for King Sisavang Vong, then enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues.
Stop at Ban Xanghai village to sample local rice wine before returning to visit Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong, known for its stunning architecture and mosaics. Explore Heuan Chan, a 19th-century mansion showcasing Lao culture, and enjoy authentic Lao coffee or tea. End the day with sunset views from Phousi Hill and a visit to the vibrant Night Market in Luang Prabang.

Day 8 – 21 Apr: Luang Prabang → Hanoi

Have breakfast at hotel. Your leisure time in Luang Prabang until at 17:00 our driver transfer you to the airport for our flight to Ha Noi- VN930 (19:30 – 20:35)

Upon NoiBai airport, our driver pick up and transfer you to hotel for check in.

Rest of the day is your leisure time to discover the city on your own.

Day 9 – 22 Apr: Hanoi (city tour)

Breakfast at hotel.

8:00 – 8:30AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine.

Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”

Enjoy take a cyclo tour around the bustling old quarter to see the ordinary life of Vietnamese people in Hanoi.

Get back to the hotel.

Day 10 – 23 Apr: Hanoi → Halong bay

Morning, breakfast at hotel. Please check out after breakfast, you can leave your big luggage at your hotel (please ask staff there to keep in store for you), bring small bag for one night in Halong as you will be back and stay one more night. 

8:20 – 8:35 AM, Our guide Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus. Take a rest at Humanity center and enjoy local specialties after 2h. Arrival in Halong at 11.45.

11:45-12.00 – Meeting at TuanChau harbour. Check in Royal Palace Cruise and you are warmly welcomed by a professional and friendly crew.

12:30 – You will board your Royal Palace Cruise and you are warmly welcomed by a professional and friendly crew. 

13:00 – Check – in cabin and enjoy speacially prepared lunch while cruising through most beautiful parts of the magical bay with thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerging from emrald water. 14.30 – Discovering outstanding and magical beauty of Luon Cave by bamboo boat or kayaking.

17:00-17:15– Back to the boat from the titop island to have shower and refreshing up 

17:30 – Join the sunset moment on the sundesk in a warm and romantic armosphere, making friends with other members in the group, enjoy fresh local fruit, listening soft, light music

19:00 – Enjoy special dinner cooked by our professional chef

20:30 – The moment you choose your own way to relax after dinner, listening to music, singing karaoke, relaxing on the sundeck, squid fishing available for entertainment during the night time.

Day 11 – 24 Apr: Halong bay → Hanoi

05:45-06:00 – Take photos of sunrise, morning exercise with our Tai Chi master, a perfectly healthy way to start a new day.

06:30 – Enjoy your breakfast, coffee, tea, fruits.

07:15 – Visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay.

09:00 – Back to Royal Palace Cruise for check-out. Keep cruising towards Ha Long Bay, passing by hundreds of islands and islets with different shapes depending on your imagination.

10:00 – Cooking class opened right on the cruise.

10:30 – Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor.

11:40 – Tour ends at Tuan Chau habour

Say goodbye to the crew and disembark.

Get on bus to go back to Hanoi.

Rest of the day is your leisure time to explore the city on your own.
