Day 1 – 08 Apr: Australia → Hanoi

Arrival at 11:30 AM – VJ124 at Noi Bai Airport, our driver welcomes and transfer to your hotel for night stay.

Day 2 – 09 Apr: Hanoi → Halong bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

07.50 – 8.20: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi, transfer to Sunworld International Harbor 

12.15 Arrival at, Sunworld International Harbor, you have a short time to relax before embark one of the Tonkin Cruise Junk Boat

12.30 Transfer to Tonkin Cruise Junk Boat by tender (5 -10 minutes) 

12.45 Warmest welcome drinks, listen to safety briefing then check in your cabin

Day 3 – 10 Apr: Halong bay → Hanoi

07.00 Having light breakfast with Western styles while the boat cruising toward the most beautiful fishing village in Ha Long Bay

07.30 Transfer to Vung Vieng Fishing Village by tender 

08.00 Riding on the rowing boat (rowed by the fisherman) to explore the Vung Vieng fishing village and learn about the local fishing life 

09:00 Back to the main boat for the cruising back to the harbor by diffirent route

09:30  Check out

10.00 Having lunch onboard (Fusion style)

11.00 Disembark in Sunworld  Harbor for the trip back to Hanoi.

15.30 Drop-off at your hotel in Hanoi. Get back to the hotel.

Around 16:45 PM, you take a taxi or go walking to 16 Le Thai To Street enjoy water puppet show at 17:15 PM at Lotus Water puppet theater.

Day 4 – 11 Apr: Hanoi (City tour) → Hoi An

Breakfast at your hotel.

8:00 – 8:30 AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45 – Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30 – Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15 – Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45 – Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine.

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”.

Get back to the hotel.

After the tour at 17:00 PM, our driver transfers you to airport for flight to Da Nang. (Depart at 19:30 PM – VN197)

Upon Da Nang airport 20:55 PM, our driver picks up and transfers you to hotel in Hoi An.

Day 5 – 12 Apr: Hoi An (visit My Son Sanctuary)

Breakfast at hotel. Around 07:30 – 8:00AM, our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, your leisure time in Hoi An.

Day 6 – 13 Apr: Hoi An (Marble mountain – Am Phu Cave – Monkey island)

Breakfast at hotel.

Around 07:30 – 08:30 AM, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart from Hoi An to visit Marble Mountain- also known as Ngu Hanh Son, is the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. There are many beautiful caves, pagodas, temples,…. All of the mountains have cave entrances and numeros tunnels. Several Buddish sanctuar-ies can also be found within the mountains.
The Marble Mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas.

And then we will come back local family for Vietnamese lunch.

After lunch, we continue to visit Am Phu Cave. We will learn many interesting philosophies of buddhism. The scenes of horror mentioned- above intend to educate human beings about doing good deeds in life and to “turn over a new leaf” to stop a bad habit or make a positive change to their characters.

Next stop Monkey Mountains, we will enjoy panorama view of Da Nang from high position. You will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the biggest pagoda in Da Nang city and the highest lady Buddha statue in Vietnam. End tour and transfer back to your hotel.

Day 7 – 14 Apr: Hoi An → Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh city 1/2 day)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel and check out of hotel and at 06:45AM, our driver transfer you to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. (09:00 AM – VN109)

Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport at 10:30 AM, our driver welcomes and transfer to your hotel.

Around 12:00 – 12:30 noon, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and Have lunch at restaurant in HCM city. 

Then, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known Landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. 

Back to the hotel.

Day 8 – 15 Apr: Ho Chi Minh (visit Cu Chi and Mekong delta)

Breakfast at your hotel.

Around 06:30 – 07:00AM: Pick up at your hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. The trip to Cu Chi will take you an approximately one and a half-hour bus drive. Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were made and how Vietnamese people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system which include special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for the security purpose during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerrillas’ food during the war) will be served. Break time.

Have lunch at the local restaurant. 

Continue to visit My Tho city. With boat trip on Tien River, you will be excited by the light breeze from the river and the natural beauty of four beautiful islands such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise along the riverside. 

Cruise through the small canal by sampan, treating yourself to the beauty of the countryside, and taking a short cycling around the village which will certainly be an unforgettable experience when participating in the Mekong Delta tour. Visit the coconut candy workshop, and enjoy seasonal delicious fruits & honey tea. Get a chance to listen to the Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by local people. 

Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
