Day 3 – 01 Mar: Ho Chi Minh (Black Virgin mountain, Cao Dai & Cu Chi)

Morning, around 07:00AM, our guide takes you to visit Nui Ba Den (Black Virgin mountain), then move to Cao Dai temple.
In the afternoon, Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.
In the evening, you can go to Bui Vien street and enjoy some drinks there by yourselves.

Day 4 – 02 Mar: Ho Chi Minh (CIty tour) → Phnom Penh

Around 07:30 – 07:45AM, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known Landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
Back to the hotel.

Day 5 – 03 Mar: Phnom Penh (City tour)

At 08:30AM, visit the notorious Choeung Ek Killing Fields & Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison) which serve as a testament to the crimes of the Khmer Rouge (From 1975–1979). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, take some minutes at Independent Monument for photo taking. After that, visit the opulent Royal Place, home to Cambodia’s Royal family, and its Silver Pagoda. Continue your visit at The National Museum with its superb collection of Khmer art. The last place to visit today is Wat Phnome, the most famous buddhist temple in Phnom Penh.

Day 6 – 04 Mar: Phnom Penh → Siem Reap (Angkor complex)
After breakfast, at 05:00AM, our driver transfer you to the airport for flight to Siem Reap (depart at 07:20AM – KT102)
Upon Siem Reap at 08:05AM, transfer you to the hotel. Take a rest before our guide picks up you visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
Before ending the tour today, enjoy a wonderful sunset scenery from the Top of Phnom Bakhen Hill.
Evening, enjoy buffet dinner and watch Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant. Watch a Apsara dance show while dining.

Day 7 – 05 Mar: Siem Reap (Tonle Sap & Beng Mealea)

Around 07:30 – 08:00AM, start the tour by visiting the National Museum. Here, you can explore a collection of Khmer art, artifacts, and historical exhibits that provide insights into the culture and history of Cambodia.
Then take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest lakes in Asia. This is an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the lake and see some of the local fishing villages and floating communities that call it home.
After lunch, we visit Beng Mealea temple. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries.

Day 9 – 07 Mar: Hanoi → Quang Uyen

Around 7:30 – 8:00am, Our tour guide will pick you up by car at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter, transferring you to Lang Son. We will start by driving in the direction of the Chinese border for about 3 hours, before stopping at Chi Lang Pass a 20kmlong gorge created from a narrow valley between two mountains. This place occupies an important position in Vietnamese history, being the place of many victories against various Chinese invasions over the centuries and millennia, as far back as 981AD. Here you will have roughly an hour to walk around and explore the area around the Quy Mon Quan Gate, named for the many invasion forces that would spill through the pass over the course of history only to be beaten back by stalwart Vietnamese defenders.
After lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang, you will continue your trip into the pass, stopping to visit Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe – an important historical site where The Battle of Dong Khe was fought during the First Indochina War. In fact, this was the very first battle of the Indochina Wars, and the fighting here took place through September and October 1950, ending in a resounding victory for the Viet Minh.
In the evening you will get to enjoy dinner and overnight rest in a local homestay owned and operated by a local Nung family.

Day 10 – 08 Mar: Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake
After enjoying breakfast at the homestay, you will depart for Trung Khanh which lies right on the border with China. Here you will have
another chance to meet and interact with the local Nung people living in the village of Phuoc Sen, a mountainous village famous for
its traditional blacksmithing. The farming tools made here are an integral part of the lifestyle which is evident in the surrounding rice
paddies and fields.
Nestled amongst these amazing landscapes is the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall which spans over 300 meters, split half and half between Vietnam and China. You’ll get some time here to simply take in the amazing atmosphere surrounding the falls, which presents an excellent opportunity for some fantastic photography.
Once you’ve finished at the falls, it’s time to head over to Nguom Ngao Cave, for a very different, but no less impressive natural
wonder. The cave stretches for 2,144 meters underground and is brimming with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.
You will then return to Cao Bang town and head down the “snake pass” to Ba Be Lake, where you will stay overnight in a homestay constructed in traditional Tay fashion and owned and operated by a local Tay family. Here you can relax and unwind from the day and enjoy a delicious and authentic home cooked meal.

Day 11 – 09 Mar: Ba Be National Park → Hanoi
After breakfast, you will board a boat to cross the lake to the north shore. From here you will start a hike in the rainforest of the central area
of the Ba Be National Park. Along the shores of the lake, you will reach a prehistoric cave dating back 500 million years, hidden in an ancient forest composed of rare and hard wood trees, as strong as steel. A little further, a fire station allows to observe the birds.
Resume your hiking to reach the An Ma temple (a sacred temple of the Tay people venerating the snake god and military general of the Mac dynasty).
It is now time to choose how to spend your time on the boat: relax and admire the landscape or take a dip in the fresh waters of the lake? Anyway, enjoy the scenery with its beautiful karst formations lined with jungle.
Note: visitors who do not wish to participate in the walk can ask to stay on the boat to join Widow Island or do some shopping
Return to Ba Be Jungle Houses restaurant for lunch before ending the tour, you will be taken about 230 km back to Hanoi and stop at a tea plantation located among rolling hills. When we arrived in Hanoi, it was time to say goodbye, creating lifelong memories and bonds.

Day 12 – 10 Mar: Hanoi (City tour)

Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake
It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.
Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world
• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.
Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays
Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.
Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.
Then, our guide pick up you to go to Hanoi Train Street, one of the most famous and adventurous tourist spots in Hanoi. It’s a tiny narrow street hidden in one of the back streets of Hanoi and surrounded by high narrow houses packed closely together. These families’ backyards are the railways where the train passes a few times per day.
Afterwards, drop you at Lotus Water Puppet Theater (Add: 16 P. Le Thai To, Hang Trong, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi) to enjoy the show at 18:30PM. The show lasts 50 minutes and after that, you can go back to your hotel easily.

Day 13 – 11 Mar : Hanoi → Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu & Tam Coc & Hang Mua)

07:15 – 07:25AM, Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi. Head the south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh. First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have quick visit two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen… to know why Hoa Lu was build as capital of Vietnam in ending of nine century.
12:00 – Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.
13:30 – Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.
15:30 – Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature.
17:15 – Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi
19:30 – Drop you off at your hotel.

Day 14 – 12 Mar: Ninh Binh (Bai Dinh & Thung Nham) → Hanoi
After breakfast, at 08:30AM, our guide takes you to visit Bai Dinh pagoda, The old Bai Dinh pagoda is located on the western slope of Dinh mountain and nestles in quiet forest. The pagoda houses an ancestor-worshipping house in the centre, Bright cave on the right hand side which worships the Buddha , the small temple worshipping Genie Cao Son. In addition, on the left hand side of the pagoda is another temple worshipping Saint Nguyen and next to it is Dark cave which worships the Fairy. With fanciful scenery and quiet atmosphere , the pagoda will make visitors feel likely to live in fairy land and they find peace in their minds.
In the afternoon, visit Thung Nham, Thung Nham Bird Park is a natural paradise that draws visitors from all over the world. With its lush forests, tranquil lakes, and breathtaking karst landscapes, Thung Nham is a place of great natural beauty and biodiversity. In this article, we will take you on a journey through the park’s many attractions, from birdwatching and hiking to exploring its ancient caves.
Return to Hanoi.

Day 15 – 13 Mar: Hanoi → Sapa

After breakfast, around 06:30 – 06:45AM, pick you up at hotel and transfer to Sapa. Arrival in Sapa around 13:00, take a little time for refreshment. Enjoy a tasty lunch of local Vietnamese dishes then take a cable car to visit Fansipan peak.
It is a chance for you to sight-see and take photos.
After your visit, take a cable car back to station and return to the town.

Day 16 – 14 Mar: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van

12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. after lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life, work and original custom.

Day 17 – 15 Mar: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan → Hanoi

Start trekking at 9:30am. 8 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa. Tour finish in Sapa by 3PM.
Then, you will be picked up by car and taken back to Hanoi.

Day 18 – 16 Mar: Hanoi → Cat Ba Island

At 10:30AM, Depart on Hai Phong 5B Highway, on the way you will stop at V52 Hai Duong (10 minutes). Then the car will continue to take you to the speedboat pier, along the way you will go on Tan Vu Lach Huyen Bridge (the longest sea-crossing bridge in Southeast Asia).
You will board the speedboat (about 07 minutes) to Phu Long – Cat Ba pier, then the car will pick you up and take you to the hotel. On the way, you will admire the most beautiful coastal road in Cat Ba.

07h30: From your hotel, you are picked up by a car and driven to Cai Beo dock start Lan Ha Bay day cruise – Cat Ba boat tours.
08h10: Get on the boat and start your journey to explore Lan Ha bay. The boat will gradually bring you to explore Cai Beo floating village – one of the oldest fishing villages in North Vietnam. From here you will get to the heart of Lan Ha bay with its majestic karst formation and smooth sandy beaches
09h30-10h30 : Our boat will bring you to Light cave – Dark cave area. This is an area in the border between Lan Ha bay and Ha Long bay, with interesting lagoons and a system of fauna and flora for you to explore and kayak.
10h30: Get back to the boat and move to Ba Trai Dao or Van Boi beach – two of very beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay. You will have the chance to swim or relax on the boat.
11h30: Get back to the boat. Relax and enjoy lunch within restaurant space of our boat. This is the time when you can take in some energy, have decent chat with new friends while enjoying the majestic beauty of Lan Ha bay.
