Day 3 – 07 Apr: Hanoi (city)

Around 08:30 AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake

It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”.

Take a cyclo tour for sightseeing around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. 

After tour, back to hotel.

Day 4 – 08 Apr: Hanoi → Halong bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

Around 07:55 – 08:10 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter. Start 2,5 hour road journey via new highway.

11:45: You arrival at Tuan Chau Island is the Lily Cruises check-in lounge at No15.

12:15: After taken to Lily Cruises, you will be checked-in. While enjoying welcome drink, you will be introduced the itinerary and safety briefing by Cruise Manager.

13:00: You will have a delicious lunch and enjoy the stunning views when the boat cruises towards the southeast of Halong Bay, passing Fighting- Cock and Finger Islet.

14:45: Visiting Luon Cave or Pearl Farm area by bamboo boat or kayaking.

16:00: You are going to Titov Island – where you can go swimming or hiking to the top for another stunning, panoramic view of the Bay.

17:30: Back on board, you can enjoy Sunset party with HAPPY HOUR (from 17:30 – 19:00) – buy 2 get 1 free at bar.

18:30: If you are interested in Vietnamese cuisines, please join our traditional Vietnamese cooking class on sundeck under the experienced Chef’s guiding (or in the restaurant in case of inclement weather).

Day 5 – 09 Apr: Halong bay → Hanoi → Hoi An

6:00: Warm up your day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck with a breathtaking view as the sun rises on Halong Bay.

7:00: Light breakfast is served at the restaurant.

8:00: Your next stop is the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Ha Long Bay with beautiful stalactites. You will be surprised by the breathtaking panoramic view across the Bay once you exit the cave as well as the stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years which have taken on fascinating shapes.

9:30: Back on board, check-out and return to Tuan Chau Island

10:00: Brunch is served at the restaurant and payment

10:45: Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina.

The guests are ready at Sun World International Terminal.

Get on bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi around 4:30pm.

After the tour, At 17:00 PM our driver transfers you to airport for flight to Da Nang. (Depart at 19:30 PM – VN197)

Upon Da Nang airport at 20:55 PM, our driver picks up and transfers you to hotel in Hoi An.

Day 6 – 10 Apr: Hoi An (visit My Son Sanctuary)

Breakfast at hotel.

Around 08:30 AM, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart from Hoi An to visit My Son Holy Land – the ancient ruins of the Cham people, once the imperial city during the Cham dynasty. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore and learn about the unique techniques the ancient Cham people used to make red bricks for constructing their towers, a mystery still unsolved. The site features a large complex of religious relics with over 70 architectural works, making it a fascinating destination for those curious about architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO recognized the Cham architecture at My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant

The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 7 – 11 Apr: Hoi An (Coconut Jungle – Hoi A City Tour – Boat Ride & Release Flower Lantern)

Breakfast at hotel.

At around 1:30 PM, start the tour by taking a basket boat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise.

Firstly, you’ll visit Hoi An Market which is always bustling.

Enjoy your time with the boat ride and drop flower lanterns to pray for good luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street.

Then, our tour guide will buy entrance tickets (included in the price), Visit Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House – That have withstood 200 years of weather and war.

Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge spans a small waterway and was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water.

Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and artwork galleries. Discover smaller lane ways and local neighborhoods gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.

Day 8 – 12 Apr: Hoi An → Ho Chi Minh

Day 9 – 13 Apr: Ho Chi Minh (Mekong delta)

Breakfast at hotel.

At 7.30 – 7:45 AM, our guide pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and start the trip to My Tho.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then  boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation. 

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop. 

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End trip.

Day 10 – 14 Apr: Ho Chi Minh (visit Cu Chi)

Breakfast at hotel.

Around 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. 

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. 

Have lunch at restaurant in HCM city. 

In the afternoon, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known Landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. 

Back to the hotel. End trip.

Day 12 – 16 Apr: Siem Reap (Explore Angkor)

Breakfast at your hotel.

At 07:30 AM, Our guide picks up you visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

Visiting the National Museum. Here, you can explore a collection of Khmer art, artifacts, and historical exhibits that provide insights into the culture and history of Cambodia.

After the museum, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest lakes in Asia. This is an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the lake and see some of the local fishing villages and floating communities that call it home.

After the lake tour, head to downtown to visit Artisan’s D’angkor, the carving art school, where you can witness the intricate art of stone carving and other traditional crafts. Next, continue your visit to Wat Thmei, a beautiful pagoda that is known for its memorial stupa that contains the skulls of Khmer Rouge victims. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

Evening, enjoy buffet dinner and watch Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant. Watch a Apsara dance show while dining

Day 13 – 17 Apr: Siem Reap (Visit Bang Mealea)

Breakfast at hotel.

At 08:00 AM, we drive out of the city to go to Koh Ker. Abandoned to the forests of the north, Koh Ker, capital of the Angkorian empire from AD 928 to AD 944. It takes about 1.5 hour to reach Koh Ker. On arrival, we start to explore the complex.

10.30 am, we drive back to Siem Reap. On the way back, we stop at two famous temples: Prasat Neang Khmau & Prasat Pram. Lunch at a local restaurant near Beng Mealea temple.

After that, we visit Beng Mealea temple. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries. We proceed to the last one that we visit today, Banteay Srey, the “gem” of the Angkor area.

Rest of the day is your leisure time to explore the city on your own.
