Day 1 – 3 Mar: Hanoi city arrival

Arrive in Hanoi, we welcome and transfer you to hotel. Your leisure time in the city on your own.

Day 2 – 4 Mar: Hanoi city tour

Hanoi city tour. Visit some famous places in Hanoi that includes Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and complex, next to visit the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son Temple and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

Take a cyclo tour for sightseeing around the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

Day 3 – 5 Mar: Hanoi → Ninh Binh

After breakfast at hotel, we transfer you to Hoa Lu (in Ninh Binh), the ancient royal capital of Vietnam. Take a sightseeing tour and take a bike to reach Tam Coc. Enjoy lunch and start exploring the famous 3 caves. Enjoy climbing 500 steps to Mua Cave to have panoramic view of Tam Coc. Return to Hanoi.

Day 4 – 6 Mar: Hanoi → Quang Yen (Friday)

Group tour departs every Tuesday or Friday.

Around 7:30 – 8:00am, Our tour guide will pick you up by car at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter, transferring you to Lang Son. We will start by driving in the direction of the Chinese border for about 3 hours, before stopping at Chi Lang Pass a 20kmlong gorge created from a narrow valley between two mountains.
This place occupies an important position in Vietnamese history, being the place of many victories against various Chinese invasions over the centuries and millennia, as far back as 981AD. Here you will have roughly an hour to walk around and explore the area around the Quy Mon Quan Gate, named for the many invasion forces that would spill through the pass over the course of
history only to be beaten back by stalwart Vietnamese defenders.
After lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang, you will continue your trip into the pass, stopping to visit Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe – an important historical site where The Battle of Dong Khe was fought during the First Indochina War. In fact, this was the very first battle of the Indochina Wars, and the fighting here took place through September and October 1950, ending in a resounding victory for the Viet Minh.
In the evening you will get to enjoy dinner and overnight rest in a local homestay owned and operated by a local Nung family.

Day 5 – 7 Mar: Ban Gioc → Ba Be lake

After enjoying breakfast at the homestay, you will depart for Trung Khanh which lies right on the border with China. Here you will have another chance to meet and interact with the local Nung people living in the village of Phuoc Sen, a mountainous village famous for
its traditional blacksmithing. The farming tools made here are an integral part of the lifestyle which is evident in the surrounding rice
paddies and fields.
Nestled amongst these amazing landscapes is the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall which spans over 300 meters, split half and half between Vietnam and China. You’ll get some time here to simply take in the amazing atmosphere surrounding the falls, which presents an excellent opportunity for some fantastic photography.
Once you’ve finished at the falls, it’s time to head over to Nguom Ngao Cave, for a very different, but no less impressive natural
wonder. The cave stretches for 2,144 meters underground and is brimming with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.
You will then return to Cao Bang town and head down the “snake pass” to Ba Be Lake, where you will stay overnight in a homestay constructed in traditional Tay fashion and owned and operated by a local Tay family. Here you can relax and unwind from the day and enjoy a delicious and authentic home cooked meal.

Day 6 – 8 Mar: Ba Be → Hanoi

After breakfast, you will board a boat to cross the lake to the north shore. From here you will start a hike in the rainforest of the central area
of the Ba Be National Park. Along the shores of the lake, you will reach a prehistoric cave dating back 500 million years, hidden in an ancient forest composed of rare and hard wood trees, as strong as steel. A little further, a fire station allows to observe the birds.
Resume your hiking to reach the An Ma temple (a sacred temple of the Tay people venerating the snake god and military general of the Mac dynasty).
It is now time to choose how to spend your time on the boat: relax and admire the landscape or take a dip in the fresh waters of the lake? Anyway, enjoy the scenery with its beautiful karst formations lined with jungle. Note: visitors who do not wish to participate in the walk can ask to stay on the boat to join Widow Island or do some shopping Return to Ba Be Jungle Houses restaurant for lunch before ending the tour, you will be taken about 230 km back to Hanoi and stop at a tea plantation located among rolling hills. When we arrived in Hanoi, it was time to say goodbye, creating lifelong memories and bonds.

Day 7 – 9 Mar: Hanoi (leisure day)

Breakfast at hotel. Spend your leisure time in the city or go around on your own.

Day 8 – 10 Mar: Hanoi → Sapa

After breakfast, our driver picks you up at your hotel and transfer you to Sapa.

Arrive in Sapa town around 13:00, enjoy lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, have a short trek to Cat Cat village. This village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic group, is nestled in a deep valley near the base of Fansipan Peak. With a knowledgeable guide, we explore the village, witness daily life, and visit the picturesque waterfall that once powered a French-built Hydraulic Power Station. We capture memorable photos before hiking uphill to meet our return bus to Sapa town. The trek covers 3.5 km and lasts about 2 hours. We return to Sapa Town by 17:00.

Day 9 – 11 Mar: Sapa (leisure time)

After breakfast, enjoy leisure day to visit local village or enjoy Red Dao herbal bath: a must-try experience during your trip to Sapa on your own.

Day 11 – 13 Mar: Sapa → Hanoi

Following breakfast at hotel, you can enjoy leisure time on your own or you can take a cable car to visit Fansipan on your own.

In the afternoon, get on the bus to be transferred back to Hanoi.

Day 12 – 14 Mar: Hanoi → Halong bay

After breakfast on boat, you will have a chance to enjoy kayaking or swimming and visit the cave it depends on the cruise we will choose.

Lunch and dinner will be served on the cruise.

Day 13 – 15 Mar: Halong bay → Hanoi

Morning, breakfast on boat. Continue cruising through many island and islet to explore the hidden charm of the bay. Lunch on board while going back to the prier. Transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 14 – 16 Mar: Hanoi → Hoian

Breakfast at hotel. Your leisure time for walking around the Old Quarter till we transfer you to the airport for flight to Danang, our driver transfers you to Hoian.

Day 15 – 17 Mar: Hoian → My Son Sanctuary

Morning breakfast at hotel. Today, we start the tour by visiting My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

After the tour, enjoy your free time on your own.

Day 16 – 18 Mar: Hoian → Golden bridge & Ba Na hills

After breakfast at hotel, we will have a visit to Ba Na Hills. Take Cable Car, which gains 5 world scores, to Ba Na hills station. We will have some stops to visit some famous places: Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French, Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden. Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda.

After lunch at a restaurant, explore the French village or join games at Fantasy Park, which is the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam.

Day 17 – 19 Mar: Hoian → Marble mountain, Am Phu cave

Around 8 – 8:30AM, the tour starts from the morning where our Guide will pick you up from the hotel.
Firstly, we will visit Marble Mountain, is the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. They look like 5 fingers lying close to the sea. There are several caves,temples, pagodas. The marble mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas.
At the foot of the mountains there is a traditional marble fine art village which is over 300 years old. You will admire its talented craftsmen, their creativity and their uniquely beautiful works.
Say good bye to Marble Mountains we will come back local family for Vietnamese lunch.
After lunch, we continue to visit Am Phu cave (the hell cave). We will learn many interesting philosophies of buddhism. The Am Phu cave features a harmonious combination of folklore and buddhism’s valuable philosophy of humanity. The scenes of horror mentioned-above intend to educate human beings about doing good deeds in life and to ‘turn over a new leaf’ to stop a bad habit or make a positive change to their characters.
Returning to the bus we will continue to explore Monkey Mountains, here we will enjoy panorama view from high position. In Monkey Mountain, you will visit Linh Ung pagoda,one of the biggest pogoda in Da Nang city and the highest lady buddha statue in vietnam – 67m. We have plenty of time to take photo and relaxing at this beautiful area if we are lucky, we can see a lot of monkey around the pagoda.
End tour and transfer back to your hotel around 3PM.

Day 18 – 20 Mar: Hoian (leisure day)

Breakfast at hotel. Spend your leisure time in the city or go around on your own.

Day 19 – 21 Mar: Hoian → Hue

After breakfast, enjoy your free time till you will be transferred to Hue. It is around 3 hours transfer.

Day 20 – 22 Mar: Hue (city tour)

Have breakfast at hotel. Get a boat trip to Thien Mu Pagoda. We then continue our visit at the Citadel & Hue Royal Antiques museum. Visit Dong Ba Market and have lunch at a nearby restaurant. After lunch, visit tomb of King “Minh Mang” and Tomb of King “Khai Dinh”. Proceed our tour at a nearby village where people making incense stick and conical hat.

Day 21 – 23 Mar: Hue → Ho Chi Minh

Your breakfast at hotel. Your leisure time till we transfer you to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Our driver welcomes and transfer you to hotel for staying.

Day 22 – 24 Mar: Ho Chi Minh city tour & Cu Chi tunnels

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. After that, take a city tour. Places to visit: The Re-Unification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral & the War Remnants Museum.

Afternoon, visit Cu Chi tunnels, we leave the city and drive 60km to Cu Chi, where you can delve into the intricate system of tunnels and explore the Cu Chi Tunnel, an impressive feat of engineering that played a significant role in the Vietnam War. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Once the tour is complete, we will make our way back to the city.

Day 23 – 25 Mar: Ho Chi Minh → Mekong Delta

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh and head towards Ben Tre. Our journey will include a boat trip along the Mekong River, during which we will visit a family-run business that exemplifies the idyllic rural lifestyle. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through the fruit plantation village.

Day 24 – 26 Mar: Mekong Delta → Ho Chi Minh city

After breakfast, we pick you up to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is wholesale market of fruit and vegetable at its busiest at this time of the day. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta.
Break for lunch then return to Ho Chi Minh.
