ITINERARY

Day 1 – Nov 28: Hanoi → Halong bay

Morning, around 8AM, our guide picks you up at your hotel to depart for Halong.

Upon arrival in Halong Bay, we will board the vessel and partake in a delectable lunch. During the meal, we will cruise through thousands of stunning islands and islets. Following lunch, you may freshen up in your room before kayaking, swimming, and other activities. Later, return to the vessel, get a drink and enjoy the picturesque sunset scenery in the bay. Lunch and dinner will be served on the cruise.

Day 2 – Nov 29: continue to visit Halong bay

After breakfast on boat, continue to explore Halong/Lan Ha bay, enjoy your time at the must – see place in Vietma,

Lunch and dinner will be served on the cruise.

Day 3 – Nov 30: Halong bay → Ninh Binh

Morning, breakfast on boat. Continue cruising through many island and islet to explore the hidden charm of the bay. Lunch on board while going back to the prier. Get on Limousine bus to be transferred to Ninh Binh.

Enjoy your stay in Ninh Binh.

Day 4 – Dec 1: Ninh Binh → Hanoi → Sapa

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Hang Mua, enjoy climbing 500 steps to Ngoa Long mountain to have panoramic view of Tam Coc. We transfer you to Hoa Lu (in Ninh Binh), the ancient royal capital of Vietnam. Take a sightseeing tour and take a bike to reach Tam Coc. Enjoy lunch and start exploring the famous 3 caves. Return to Hanoi. Enjoy dinner on your own.

Our guide take you to train station to get on the train to depart for Lao Cai station then transfer to Sapa.

Day 5 – Dec 2: Sapa (trekking to villages)

Pick up at the train station when you arrive and transfer to Sapa by a tourist shared bus. Enjoy a bit rest time and enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant.

Start the trip around 9:30 as below:
First start of 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Last trek is about 2Km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa by jeep or minivan..

Day 6 – Dec 3: Sapa (trekking to villages)

After breakfast, a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 3 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning then return to Sapa.

Day 7 – Dec 4: Sapa (Fansipan visit) → Hanoi

After breakfast, enjoy leisure day on your own. In the afternoon, around 1:30PM, our guide take you to take a cable car to visit Fansipan peak. After the tour, be back to hotel, collect your luggage, our guide take you back to train station and enjoy light dinner then get on a train to be back to Hanoi.

Day 8 – Dec 5: Hanoi → Tam Chuc & Dia Tang Phi Lai

Arrive in Hanoi and our driver will pick up and transfer you to hotel. After breakfast, around 8AM, our guide pick you up to depart for Tam Chuc Pagoda & Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda.

You arrive at Tam Chuc Pagoda, we visit the relic complex of Tam Chuc Pagoda – the largest pagoda in the world with: Tam Quan Gate, Pillar Kinh Garden, Tam The Palace, Steps through the intricately carved wooden shop, in front are three Tam The phoenixes representing the past, present and future. Visiting the Phap Chu Palace, Quan Am Palace, watching out the Jade Pagoda on the top of That Tinh mountain with 299 steps, built entirely of granite blocks taken from India.

Having lunch at a local restaurant with buffet lunch

Taking a short drive to nearby hidden and sacred Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda where owns a quiet and well-appointed old architecture dedicated to the Buddha. There the Monk Master sets up a lot of rooms for meditation.

Getting on bus back to Hanoi, then you will be in the Old Quarter around 18:00.
