Day 1 – 29 Jan: Hanoi (Arrival)

Arrival at the airport in Hanoi at 11:35 AM – BR 397, our driver welcomes and transfers you to hotel.

Rest of the day is your leisure time.

Day 2 – 30 Jan: Hanoi → Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua cave)

Around 07:00 – 07:05 AM, Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi. Head the south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh. First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have quick visit two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen… to know why Hoa Lu was build as capital of Vietnam in ending of nine century.

12:00 – Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.

13:30 – Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.

15:30 – Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature.

17:15 – Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi

19:30 – Drop you off at your hotel.

Day 3 – 31 Jan: Hanoi → Mai Châu

Breakfast at hotel. Please check out after breakfast, you can leave your big luggage at your hotel (please ask staff there to keep in store for you), bring small bag for one night in Mai Chau as you will be back and stay more. 

07:00 – 07:30 AM : Pickup at your hotel in our comfortable van/bus

10:00: Short break

11:30 – 12:30 : Scenic photo stop of Mai Chau valley/arrive in Mai Chau

12:30 – Traditional lunch in our home (vegetarian available)

14:30 – Bicycle ride with your tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages.

17:00 – Free time for cycling, walking, shopping

19:00 – Enjoy the the dinner, you will have a chance to Enjoy traditional dishes prepared in the style of the native Thai and watch the Thai’s traditional Dance show and drink traditional wine “ruou can” (only applied for group more than 5 peoples).

Day 4 – 01 Feb: Mai Châu → Hanoi

08:30 – Go with a local Thai tour guide, we will cycling for 2km before start the trek to visit more remote rural villages: Na Meo, Na Mo and Xam Pa villages to see the rice terraces and understand more about their culture and customs

12:00 – Back to the homestay, check-out and go for lunch

13:00 – Free time for shopping and relaxing.

15:30 – Get on the van/bus to drive back to Hanoi.

19:00 – Arrive in Hanoi Old quater. Drop you off at your hotel

Day 5 – 02 Feb: Hanoi → Halong bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

Around 08:00 – 08:10 AM – our guide picks you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus.

• 11:45 – 12:00 – Welcome at waiting room 26 Tuan Chau harbour in Halong Bay
• 12:00 . You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Sapphire Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.
• 13: 15  While our boat starts to cruise ,  enjoy the special lunch of fresh  seafood and vietnamese food  cooked by one of the best Chef in halong bay . 
• 15:00  After cruising for nearly 2 hours to explore the tranquil Bay , passing by thousands of islands and islets , the boat reaches the best area to do kayaking to see a lot of amazing limestone karst landscapes . Our boat will not bring you to the crowded and tiny beach for swimming . Our boat will stop in the middle of the Bay so that you can have chance to jump into water , take a backflip or somersault ..
• 16:30  Keep cruising to admire the stunning beauty of the Bay from our Sundeck where you can capture great  photos
• 17:00  Attend the cooking class opened right on the Sundeck , our guide will show you how to prepare and make our vietnamese traditional dish that is spring roll
• 17: 45  Join the Sunset party , enjoy fresh fruit , making friends with other members in the group , listening to soft and light music.
• 19 :00  Enjoy the special Dinner with fusion food prepared by the excellent skills of decoration of our Chef .

Day 6 – 03 Feb: Halong bay → Ha Giang

• 05:45 – The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.
• 06:30 – Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
• 7:00 – 8:15 – Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
• 09:15-9:30 – Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.
• 09:45 Enjoy your brunch on the boat.
• 11:00 you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
• 11:45 Tour ends at TuanChau habour in Halong
• 15:00 – 15:30 PM – drop off your hotel.

Take a rest until 19:30 PM our driver pick up and transfer you to Ha Giang.

Day 7 – 04 Feb: Ha Giang city – Dong Van Town

Arrival at Ha Giang at 02:00 AM, you will be taken to your hotel to stay.

8.30 AM: Tour is start at our homestay in Ha Giang city, our tour guide and drivers will brief for you how to be safe to sit behind with easy riders.

On the first day, you will see a big change in the scenery when you drive into the mountain roads. We will stop at Bac Sum Slope to enjoy the view and have drinks before arrival the town of Quan Ba. The tour takes you through the Dong Van Karst Geopark – a major geoheritage site in Vietnam. You will see a lot of   terraced rice fields , thousands of limestone rocks and magnificent views and hidden villages at the Valley. People will be working on the land and you will get a taste of rural north Vietnamese countryside life. Our riders also take you to the Quan Ba Heaven gate & Twin mountains – the famous viewpoint in Ha Giang. We will have lunch in local restaurant in Yen Minh Town.

After lunch, we drive to Dong Van Town, you will make a stop at Tham Ma Slope and the residence of the Vuong’s family, which is still called “ H’mong King Palace” . Then we will come to homestay and have dinner in Dong Van Town.

Day 8 – 05 Feb: Dong Van Town – Volunteer – Du Gia village

After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town, our easy rider will take you to see  the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness road connecting the towns of  Dong Van  and Meo Vac,  Ma Pi Leng Pass . The legendary pass is well known for craggy cliffs and breath-taking views. It is the most ragged pass in the north, often referred to as the “king” of the passes in Vietnam! The whole road is winding through the cliffs and overcomes  Ma Pi Leng pass  at an altitude of 2,000 meters.

To show you the full beauty of the pass, we will Ride down the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que river. Then ride to see panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable pictures. Standing on the peak of the pass, you will feel
overwhelmed by the majestic space of mountains and rivers.

We will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages Lung Ho, Mau Due  and  Meo Vac , where we will have a pit stop for a lunch and drink. From Meo Vac Town we will continue through mountainous trail road area of Ha Giang province to  Du Gia Village  with amazing landscape and famous village there are 7 ethnic minority live at the same village, you will see colorful village and a lot of culture, where we will spend over at  homestay with  Tay Minority Family, and enjoy dinner and happy water with family.

Day 9 – 06 Feb: Du Gia → Hanoi

Breakfast at your hotel

After breakfast, you will board a boat to cross the lake to the north shore. From here you will start a hike in the rainforest of the central area of the Ba Be National Park. Along the shores of the lake, you will reach a prehistoric cave dating back 500 million years, hidden in an ancient forest composed of rare and hard wood trees, as strong as steel. A little further, a fire station allows to observe the birds.

Resume your hiking to reach the An Ma temple (a sacred temple of the Tay people venerating the snake god and military general of the Mac dynasty).

It is now time to choose how to spend your time on the boat: relax and admire the landscape or take a dip in the fresh waters of the lake? Anyway, enjoy the scenery with its beautiful karst formations lined with jungle.

Note: visitors who do not wish to participate in the walk can ask to stay on the boat to join Widow Island or do some shopping

Return to Ba Be Jungle Houses restaurant for lunch before ending the tour.

At 16:00 PM you will be taken about 230 km back to Hanoi and stop at a tea plantation located among rolling hills.

At 22:00 PM arrived in Hanoi, it was time to say goodbye, creating lifelong memories and bonds.

Day 10 – 07 Feb: Hanoi (City tour) → Hoi An

Around 08:00 – 08:30 AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”

After the tour, drop you off at hotel.

Then our driver transfers you to airport for flight to Da Nang.

Arrival at Da Nang airport, our driver picks up and transfers you to hotel in Hoi An for your stay.

Day 11 – 08 Feb: Hoi An (Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary)

07:30 – 08:00 AM, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 14 – 11 Feb: Da Nang (Marble Mountain)

Around 07:30 – 08:00 AM: – We’ll pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Da Nang city (around 30km).

8:30 – Our van will transfer you to Monkey Mountain. A giant statue of Lady Buddha with a beautiful background such as mountains and a huge garden of bonsai would draw your attention. You will definitely get lost in the garden of heaven with gripping stories when gently walking and enjoying a fresh breeze.

9:30– 10:00 – Discovery the Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Da Nang.

– Check in the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevator is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were made in the 19th century by the last dynasty of the Viet Nam monarchy, and visit Huyền Không or Tàng Chơn caves.

– Keep going to see the biggest fascinating cave named as Âm Phủ cave. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos with amazing natural creations.

11:45 – Have lunch at a local restaurant with local and authentic Vietnamese cuisines.

13:00 – We will drop you at your hotel. The tour ends!

Day 15 – 12 Feb: Hoi An (Ba Na Hills)

Spend your time on the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit Dream Stream Cable car Station and see the panorama of Quang Nam – Danang City on high.

After finishing the first cable car, you will visit The Golden Bridge – which has the most exotic structure and also the world’s most prominent pedestrian bridges highlighted by the British Guard newspaper, France wine cellar, Le Jardin D’amourn(consists of 9 gardens)… Linh Ung pagoda.

Continue the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village – enjoy Street Music, watch Art’s statue , Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome … Challenge the most popular adventure ride – Slide of Tube Car (free ride)…

Lunch at Restaurant (Buffet)

• Arrive at a traditional local restaurant and observe the owner making Vietnamese signature food such as Banh xeo, spring rolls, and so on. Enjoy their cooking with a cool cup of Saigon beer.
• Visit a well-known baguette bakery in Saigon and enjoy French bread with Vietnamese sauce.
• Continue to the Saigon River for a sightseeing tour of the city.
