Day 4 – 08 Dec: Visit famous temples

Morning breakfast at the hotel.

At 8:30 AM, we start the tour by visiting some famous temples in Siem Reap.

The East Mebon is a 10th Century temple at Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of King Rajendravarman, it stands on what was an artificial island at the center of the now dry East Baray reservoir.

• Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom and just east of Neak Pean.

• Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Preah Khan Baray built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is the “Mebon” of the Preah Khan baray.

• Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. However, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.

• Pre Rup is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.

Day 5 – 09 Dec: Explor The Angkor

Breakfast at your hotel. 

At 08:30AM, our guide picks up you visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (literally: “Great City”), located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

Day 6 – 10 Dec: Visit Beng Mealea

At 08:00AM, we drive out of the city to go to Koh Ker. Abandoned to the forests of the north, Koh Ker, capital of the Angkorian empire from AD 928 to AD 944. It takes about 1.5 hour to reach Koh Ker. On arrival, we start to explore the complex.

We drive back to Siem Reap. On the way back, we stop at two famous temples: Prasat Neang Khmaw & Prasat Pram. Lunch at a local restaurant near Beng Mealea temple.

We visit Beng Mealea temple. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries. We proceed to the last one that we visit today, Banteay Srey, the “gem” of the Angkor area.

Day 7 – 11 Dec: Visit Tonle Sap Lake → Hanoi [Arrival]

Morning, your breakfast at hotel.

8:30AM, start the tour by visiting the National Museum. Here, you can explore a collection of Khmer art, artifacts, and historical exhibits that provide insights into the culture and history of Cambodia.

After the museum, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest lakes in Asia. This is an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the lake and see some of the local fishing villages and floating communities that call it home.

After the lake tour, head to downtown to visit Artisan’s D’angkor, the carving art school, where you can witness the intricate art of stone carving and other traditional crafts. Next, continue your visit to Wat Thmei, a beautiful pagoda that is known for its memorial stupa that contains the skulls of Khmer Rouge victims.

Afterward, enjoy lunch and spend some leisure time in Siem Reap until our driver transfers you to Siem Reap airport for your departure flight to Hanoi

Day 8 – 12 Dec. Hanoi [city tour] + welcome dinner

08:00 – 08:30AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton

Enjoy take a cyclo tour around the bustling old quarter to see the ordinary life of Vietnamese people in Hanoi.

At 18:30, your welcome Dinner will be set up at Tung’s Kitchen Vietnamese Cuisine & Vegetarian Food (02 Hang Bong street), you can walk there.

Day 9 – 13 Dec. Hanoi → Sapa

Breakfast at hotel. Please check out after breakfast, you can leave your big luggage at your hotel (please ask staff there to keep in store for you), bring small bag for one night in Sapa as you will be back and stay more. 

06:30 – 06:45: our driver picks you up from the hotel, depart for Sapa

13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. The tour guide will be waiting for you at No.3 Fansipan Str (or at where the bus stop), holding the sign “Sapa Pathfinder Travel” to welcome you. Then, please follow him to come to the hotel.

14.30: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.

Trekking distance is about 3.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours

Come back to Sapa Town.

Day 10 – 14 Dec. Sapa

7.00 – 7.45: Have breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking

Trek from Sapa to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
Lunch at a local restaurant.

Heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people. Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa. Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 4.5 hours.

After the tour, be back your hotel.

Day 11 – 15 Dec. Sapa (leisure till afternoon) → Hanoi

Day 12 – 16 Dec. Ninh Binh day tour → Hanoi

Morning, breakfast at hotel.

At 7:20 – 7:30 AM , Our driver and tour guide pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi. Head the south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh.  First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have quick visit two  temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen… to know why Hoa Lu was build as capital of Vietnam in ending of nine century.

Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.

Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.

Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain for watching the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature.

Return to our bus and then come back to hotel in Hanoi.

Day 13 – 17 Dec. Hanoi → Halong bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

8:25 – 8:35 AM, our bus Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus.

11: 45- 12: 00 Welcome at waiting room 26 Tuan Chau harbour in Halong Bay

12:00 . You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Sapphire Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

13:15  While our boat starts to cruise ,  enjoy the special lunch of fresh  seafood and Vietnamese food  cooked by one of the best Chef in halong bay

15:00  After cruising for nearly 2 hours to explore the tranquil Bay , passing by thousands of islands and islets , the boat reaches the best area to do kayaking to see a lot of amazing limestone karst landscapes . Our boat will not bring you to the crowded and tiny beach for swimming . Our boat will stop in the middle of the Bay so that you can have chance to jump into water , take a back flip or somersault ..

Day 14 – 18 Dec. Halong bay

06:30 Early birds are welcome to attend sunrise Tai Chi on our upper deck and it’s an excellent way to get your energy levels up for today’s adventures. You will be fascinated by the exquisiteness in the early hours as you enjoy a coffee or tea.

07:00 Enjoy a Light breakfast  with the best local coffee brand and fresh fruit juices.

8:00 – 8:30: Get picked up at the Tra Bau area

8:30 – 9:00 Boat cruises through Lan Ha Bay before disembarking at Viet Hai dock

10:00: Go cycling a short trip of 5km to Viet Hai village – a small village amid the jungle, surrounded by the high mountain ranges of Cat Ba National Park. The area has become popular with foreign tourists, without attracting mass tourism so it is still very rustic. For those who are not fancy cycling will be arranged by electric car.

11:30: Return to the dock and board our day boat again to sail further to the other side of Lan Ha Bay

12:00: The dayboat anchors for a peaceful lunch.

13:00-14:00: Kayaking around the Tai Quéo cave area, a tunnel cave, to a lake like “Dragon Eye”.

Day 15 – 19 Dec. Halong bay → Hanoi

05:45 – The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.

06:30 – Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)

7:00 – 8:15 – Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.

09:15-9:30 – Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.

09:45 Enjoy your brunch on the boat.

11:00 you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

Day 17 – 21 Dec. Hue (city tour) → Hoi An

Around 08:00 – 08:30AM, you will start the tour by visiting Thien Mu Pagoda. To visit this pagoda, you will get a boat trip on Perfume River (called “Huong” River in Vietnamese). After the boat trip which takes around 45 minute, you arrive the Pagoda. Thien Mu Pagoda was built on a hillock overlooking the Perfume river. This pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and the symbol of Hue city.

Finish your visit at Thien Mu Pagoda, get on the car waiting outside to visit the Citadel (also called “The Imperial City”). It is a walled palace within the citadel of the city of Huế, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. Next to visit Dong Ba Market. This is Hue’s largest market, selling anything and everything.

Arrival at a nice local restaurant. Enjoy your lunch and take a rest.

We leave the restaurant for the tomb of King “Minh Mang”. King “Minh Mang” was the second emperor of the Nguyen dynasty of Vietnam, reigning from 14 February 1820 until his death, on 20 January 1841.

Continue your visit at the Tomb of King “Khai Dinh”. King “Khai Dinh” was the 12th Emperor of the Nguyễn Dynasty in Vietnam, reigning from 1916 to 1925.

We leave the the Tomb of King “Khai Dinh” to visit a nearby village where people making incense stick and conical hat.

Day 18 – 22 Dec. Hoian (Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary)

07:30 – 08:00AM, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch, Two hour walking tour of Hoi An Old Town. Famous for its quant mixture of Chinese, Japanese and European architecture, the old town was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999. You will visit, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall,the Japanese bridge built in the 16th century and famous for being the only covered bridge known to incorporate a Buddhist pagoda, the 200 year old Tan Ky house, museum of trade ceramics and several other historical sites

You will then have free time to continue exploring the old town or to go shopping for those special items.

Day 19 – 23 Dec. Hoi An [Golden Bridge and Banahill]

08:00 – 08:30 AM, our tour guide picks you up at hotel lobby. Reach Ba Na Hills via Cable Car. Spend your time on the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, visit Dream Stream Cable car Station and see the panorama of Quang Nam – Da Nang City on high.

After finishing the first cable car, you will visit The Golden Bridge – which has the most exotic structure and also the world’s most prominent pedestrian bridges highlighted by the British Guard newspaper, France wine cellar, Le Jardin D’amourn (consists of 9 gardens), Linh Ung pagoda.

Continue the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village (enjoy Street Music, watch Art’s statue), Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Linh Phong Monastery, Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple & Tru Vu Tea Shop.

Watch Carnival Performance Show, Square Du Dome. Challenge the most popular adventure ride – Slide of Tube Car (free ride).

Arrival the boat where you will be greeted by the Experiences Manager with a welcome drink. Introduction to Nha Trang Bay, the locals, the food, the culture, the emperor, safety precautions, and the Emperor Cruises Junk. Start cruising through the spectacular landscape of Nha Trang Bay.

Continue to cruise pass by the Tam, Mot, in Nha Trang Bay while guitar player will bring you deep in classical music. During this time, guest can enjoy some drinks and fruits on boat.  Your destination Fish farm.

Visiting Fish farm for exploring the beautiful landscape by basket boat surrounding the finish villlage.

10:00-12:00

Arrive at Sỏi Beach where you can either go swimming, kayaking, snorkeling (base on the weather condition). Alternatively, just relax under the big trees, enjoying the stunning views of the bay and Emperor Cruises’ sails against the clear blue waters of the bay.

Besides, there are many other activites on the beach which you can join such as Diving, Jetski, Para sailing and Banana boat (exclusion in price).

12:00-13:30

After so much activity, you will surely be hungry. It’s time to go back the boat. You will be served a sumptuous set lunch on board with local beers, soft drink, fine wine, or premium spirits as the boat anchors near Hon Tre Island with its tranquil lagoon. Af the lunch, guesst and relax and go finish ing on boat. 

14:00

Cruise back to Vinh Truong Island Waterway Port passing Vung Ngan floating village and Vinpearl Island as we return to the mainland.

Tranfer boat will take all guests back to the boat. At the port, your shuttle bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Day 24 – 28 Dec. Ho Chi Minh [visit Cu Chi]

Breakfast at hotel.

Around 7.30 – 7:45 AM, our guide picks you up to visit Ho Chi Minh city. Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security
purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

Have lunch at restaurant in HCM city.

In the afternoon, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known Landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Return to Ho Chi Minh.

‭Arrive‬ ‭at‬ ‭Thoi‬ ‭Son‬ ‭islet:‬ ‭Stroll‬ ‭through‬ ‭village‬ ‭paths,‬ ‭visit‬ ‭fruit‬ ‭orchards,‬ ‭enjoy‬ ‭seasonal‬ fruits, and listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese music.‬

Have breakfast at hotel.

At around 6:30 AM: Relaxing‬ ‭boat‬ ‭ride‬ ‭to‬ ‭explore‬ ‭the‬ ‭picturesque‬ ‭tributaries‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭Hau‬ River, followed by a visit to the bustling Cai Rang Floating Market.‬
‭Visit‬ ‭a‬ ‭local‬ ‭noodle-making‬ ‭factory.‬ ‭Explore‬ ‭Munir‬ ‭Ansay‬ ‭Pagoda,‬ ‭a‬ ‭renowned‬ ‭Khmer‬ ‭pagoda with unique architecture.‬
‭Then, proceed to Son Islet, visit fish farms, fruit orchards, and enjoy seasonal fruits.‬
‭Lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City, ending the tour.‬

Breakfast will be served at your hotel. Your leisure time till evening.

Around 18:00PM, Our driver will pick you up and head to Saigon Port (05 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Ward 13, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City)

At 19:30PM, the cruise will depart, enjoy your delightful dinner on the luxurious 5-star cruise.

The cruise will dock at 21:30PM, the driver will pick you up to return to the hotel for rest (New Year program may a bit different. We will update the outline when we got the information from cruise).
