Day 1 – 18 Feb: Hanoi (Arrival)

Please be ready around 2.5 to 3 hours at the airport in Sydney to check – in your flight.

When you arrive in Ho Chi Minh city, after Immigration procedure and luggage collection, please quickly move from international terminal to domestic terminal to check – in your flight to Hanoi, it is around 500m between 2 terminals, please see that to avoid missing your connecting flight.

Arrive airport in Hanoi at 21:15 PM – VN258. Our driver welcome and transfer you to your hotel for your stay.

Day 2 – 19 Feb: Hanoi (Leisure time)

Day 4 – 21 Feb: Hanoi → Lan Ha Bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back to this hotel to stay more.

07:45 – 08:15 AM: Get picked up from your hotel.

12:30 – 12:45: Leaving dock to cruise in the bay

13:30: Check in Cruise and Have lunch

15:30 -17:00: Kayaking and swimming at Tra Bau area (the background of “Kong Skull Island movie”) or use Jacuzzi (Located prow of 3rd deck)

Notice: Short close or swim suite, flip flop is suitable for kayaking.

Reception Provide: Life jackets; Towels, Dry bags (keep Camera, cellphone to take picture)

Meeting point: The Reception (The back of the second Deck)

18:00: Enjoy Sunset Party: Cakes; peanut; fruit, tea for Complementary and join the cooking demonstration during sunset party, enjoy happy hour and relax.

19:30: Have dinner

20:30: Evening entertainments: squid fishing, relaxing and spend the night on the Doris Cruise.

Day 5 – 22 Feb: Lan Ha Bay → Hanoi

06:00: Practice Taichi on the Sundeck

7:30 – 8:00: Have breakfast

08:30 – 10:00: Visit Dark & Bright cave by our tender. You can do the rowing boat trip by local people.

Or You can stay on the cruise for relaxing. 10h00: Go back to the cruise

10:30: Check your cabin out. Please put your luggage in front of the door and return your room key to the receptionist, take good care of your important belongings.

10:45: Have lunch at the restaurant

11:45: Leaving Doris Cruise to get on the transfer boat back Tuan Chau Harbor dock 35.

12:30: Arrive the mainland (If you book your own transfer, please inform driver be ready at dock 35 Tuan Chau 12h30 pm)

15:00 – 15:30 drop off your hotel.

At 16:45 PM, our guide pick up you to enjoy the water puppet show at Lotus Water Puppet Theater.

After that (around 18:00 PM), our guide will pick you up to start your walkie night to train street and foodie Hanoi Street Food Tour. We will take you inside Hanoi Old Quarter and discover some of the lesser-known dishes of locals. From Pho Bo (Vietnamese Beef Noodle), Banh Cuon (Steamed rice rolls), “Banh Mi” (Vietnamese Baguette), etc. Finish the tour with unique Ca Phe Trung (Egg Coffee), which will perfectly round off our Hanoi street food discovery. See train street at suitable time during street food tour.

Day 6 – 23 Feb: Hanoi (city tour)

Breakfast at your hotel.

08:00 – 08:30 AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake

It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”.

Take a cyclo tour for sightseeing around the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

After tour, Your leisure time to discover the city on your own.

At 18:30 PM, enjoy your dinner at Tùng’s restaurant (02 Hang Bong street).

Day 7 – 24 Feb: Hanoi → Hoi An

Breakfast at your hotel. Your leisure time to discover the city on your own until 10:00 AM, our driver transfer you to airport flight to Danang.(VN169 departing at 12:25 PM, flight code: 6I498Z)

Once arrived in Da Nang airport at 13:50 PM, you’ll be taken to Hoi An hotel for your stay.

Day 8 – 25 Feb: Hoi An (visit My Son Sanctuary)

Breakfast at hotel.

07:30 – 08:00 AM, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Rest of the day is your leisure time to discover the city on your own.

Morning, enjoy your breakfast at hotel.

At 09:45 AM, our driver takes you to Da Nang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh (depart at 11:10 AM – VN119), then take a connecting flight at Ho Chi Minh airport departing for flight to Phu Quoc. (depart at 14:30 PM – VN7833)

Arrival Phu Quoc airport at 15:30 PM, our driver will pick up and transfer you to hotel.

Rest of the day is your leisure time for relaxation at beach in Phu Quoc.

Day 11 – 28 Feb: Phu Quoc (Leisure)

Day 12 – 01 Mar: Phu Quoc → Ho Chi Minh

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel. You can walk for shopping or just take a coffee for relaxing time.

At 12:45 PM, our driver transfer you to Phu Quoc airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. (VN1826 departing at 15:00 PM, flight code: 6I5HAR)

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh at 16:10 PM, our driver tranfers to hotel for check-in.

Rest of the day is your leisure time to discover the city on your own.

Day 13 – 02 Mar: Ho Chi Minh (explore city tour & Cu Chi tunnels)

Breakfast at hotel.

07:30 – 07:45 AM, Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

After that, back to Ho Chi Minh city. Visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

After tour, drop you at the hotel.

Day 14 – 03 Mar: Ho Chi Minh (Mekong Delta tour)

07:30 – 07:45 AM, Our guide pick you up in Ho Chi Minh City, then depart for Cai Be. Upon arrival, take a boat ride and explore on the Tien River. Experience the area’s diversity and lush orchard gardens, known as the fruit basket of the Lower Mekong River. Venture through charming villages, discovering ancient houses and indigenous culture. Visit a family business producing coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Taste fresh fruit, enjoy Southern Vietnamese folk music, and paddle through scenic canals in the Upper Mekong Delta.

Lunch offers a chance to prepare and relish Vietnamese specialties amidst a local garden, engaging with the community. Cycle through orchards, interact with islanders for insights into daily life, and visit Ba Kiet’s ancient house. Return by boat to Cai Be.

After tour, back to Ho Chi Minh.
