Day 1 – 29 Jan. Hanoi (Arrival)

Arrival at the airport in Hanoi at 15:50, our driver welcomes and transfers you to hotel.

Day 2 – 30 Jan. Hanoi (city tour)

08:30AM, Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City.

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

• Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.

Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

14.00 – 14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton.

Be back to your hotel.

Your leisure time in the city on your own.

Day 3 – 31 Jan. Hanoi → Halong bay

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Halong bay trip as you will be back and go to the airport from the hotel. 

8:00 – 8:30AM, our guide Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus. Take a rest at Humanity center and enjoy local specialties after 2h.

13:15-14:00, After the welcome aboard, be served with lunch while cruising towards the bay.

15.30 The crew take passengers visit the Dark and Bright (also known as Bat Cave) grotto is not only known for the stunning limestone structure at every turn but also for the interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is doing kayaking or bamboo sampan drive by local people through the tunnel so you will spend mostly your time relaxing and enjoy the quiet and natural place.

16:30 Return to cruise enjoy swimming in the bay 

17:45 Depart and cruise for about 30 minutes to anchor overnight.

18:15 Attend the Fruit and Vegetable Carving Lesson led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef will conduct Fruit and Vegetable carving, showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese food..

19:15 Dinner is served.

20:30 Evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available. Also, everyone can try their luck at squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew.

22:30 End of Program for Day 1.

Day 4 – 01 Feb. Halong bay (Viet Hai village – Cat Ba island)

06:45 Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.

07:15 Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant

08:00 To mark the beginning of an authentic short adventure, you will be escorted from our luxurious cruise to a local boutique day boat for an unforgettable short journey on a traditional Vietnamese voyage to Viet Hai village, where we will take a stroll around the idyllic enclave and see the residents’ fabulously rustic homes. We then ride our bicycles or electric vans down village paths to see some of Cat Ba Island’s breathtaking scenery.

11:30 Back to the local boutique cruise.

12.00 Lunch is served

13:00 – 14:00 Kayaking around Tai Quéo cave area, a tunnel cave, to a lake like “Dragon eye”

14:00 – 14:30 We move on to Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) Beaches for swimming

16:00 – 16:30 Enjoy finger fruits dishes while cruising back the Indochine Cruise

17:00 Return to the Indochine Cruise. Rejoin the cruise and relax onboard as we sail to the overnight anchorage.

19:15 Dinner is served at restaurant

Day 5 – 02 Feb. Halong bay → Hanoi → Hue

06:00 Continental breakfast: Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the restaurant.

06:30 Enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck (lasting for about 30 minutes)

07:15 Cruise crew takes guests visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.

09:00 Upon returning to the boat, guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier).

09:30 Enjoy a Brunch in the restaurant. Bills are settled after Brunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

11:00 Arrive at Tuan Chau port, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

Arrival in Hanoi around 15:30 PM.

At 17:30, Our driver transfers you to airport for flight to Hue – VJ569 (19:50 – 21:05).

Day 6 – 03 Feb. Hue (city tour)

Breakfast at hotel.

At 08:30 AM, our driver and guide pick you up and start the tour. Get on the dragon boat , go along the Huong river to enjoy the fresh atmosphere and peaceful beauty of Hue on the way to Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest pagoda here.
After visiting Thien Mu, we get on the car and go to the Citadel to see the living, working, worshiping and relaxing areas of Nguyen Kings’family, the last royal family in Viet Nam.

The last stop in the morning is Dong Ba market, before we head to the restaurant for lunch. Lunch time at My Home restaurant is a great time to savour the best Hue traditional foods and some royal tea while having your feet relax in herbal water after the meal.
In the afternoon, we will visit two royal tombs Minh Mang and Khai Dinh with traditional architecture and French-influenced style, respectively.
We will take a 10-min trip on car to Thuy Xuan conical hat village to visit a local family who produce the traditional hat and incent.
You can have many photos taken with creative decoration from colorful incent sticks made by people here.
16:30pm: Tour is finished and we get on car, come back to the hotel.

Day 7 – 04 Feb. Hue → Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. Spend your leisure time. At 12:00, we transfer you to Hoi An.

At 16:00, Enjoy take a cyclo tour to see the ordinary life of Vietnamese people in Hoi An.

Day 8 – 05 Feb. Hoi An ( Coconut Jungle, basket boat and cooking class)

Breakfast at hotel.

8:30 – 13:00 A unique experience through the coconut forest in the heart of Hoi An old town, enjoy & experience how to prepare special foods. This tour will give visitors a great experience, especially the short vacation tourists in Hoi An, this is a perfect choice. Highlight Attractions: Going to experience a local colorful market how to deal with the local sellers and know all ingredients for the meals. Take a paddle boat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise. Enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing and “Purple Crabs” in the canal. Welcome drink and join the cooking class. Our chef will teach you the differences about the ingredients and traditional methods how to cook 4 dishes of Vietnamese food. At the end of the course, we will provide you with recipes so you can cook Vietnamese food with your family and friends at your home. You learn 4 courses but enjoy 8 Vietnamese foods. After have lunch/dinner, our guide will drop you off back your hotel. After the lesson, you enjoy what you cooked and 4 prepared side dishes.

Day 9 – 06 Feb. Hoi An → Ho Chi Minh (Street foodtour)

Breakfast at hotel. At 8:40, Our driver transfers you to Danang airport flight to Ho Chi Minh – VN119 (11:10 – 12:40).

Arrival Ho Chi Minh airport, our driver welcomes and transfers you to hotel.

At 18:00, take you to join Vespa street food tour in 4 hours.

Day 10 – 07 Feb. Ho Chi Minh (Cu Chi tunnel & City tour)

Breakfast at hotel.

Around 7.30 – 7:45 AM, our guide picks you up to visit Ho Chi Minh city. Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security
purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

Have lunch at restaurant in HCM city.

In the afternoon, visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known Landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 11 – 08 Feb. Ho Chi Minh → Mekong Delta

Breakfast at your hotel then check out your hotel, you can leave big luggage at hotel (please note to hotel staff to keep for you) and bring small bag for Mekong trip as you will be back and go to the airport from the hotel. 

At 08:30, Pick up guests at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and depart for My Tho Port.‬ Boat cruise on the Tien River to view the four islets: Long, Lan, Quy, Phung.‬
‭The‬ ‭boat‬ ‭passes‬ ‭by‬ ‭floating‬ ‭fish‬ ‭farms‬ ‭along‬ ‭the‬ ‭Tien‬ ‭River,‬‭ offering ‬‭a ‬‭view‬ ‭of ‬‭Rach ‬‭Mieu‬ Bridge.‬
‭Arrive‬ ‭at‬ ‭Thoi‬ ‭Son‬ ‭islet:‬ ‭Stroll‬ ‭through‬ ‭village‬ ‭paths,‬ ‭visit‬ ‭fruit‬ ‭orchards,‬ ‭enjoy‬ ‭seasonal‬ fruits, and listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese music.‬
‭Rowing‬ ‭boat‬ ‭through‬ ‭small‬ ‭canals:‬ ‭Enjoy‬ ‭the‬ ‭peaceful‬ ‭riverine‬ ‭scenery,‬ ‭visit‬ ‭a‬ ‭honey‬ ‭bee‬ farm, and taste honey tea and banana wine.‬
‭Continue‬ ‭down‬ ‭the‬ ‭Tien‬ ‭River‬ ‭to‬ ‭Tan‬ ‭Thach‬ ‭Canal‬ ‭(Ben‬ ‭Tre):‬ ‭Visit‬ ‭a‬ ‭coconut‬ ‭candy‬ workshop, and explore traditional handicrafts.‬

Day 12 – 09 Feb. Mekong Delta → Ho Chi Minh (Departure)

Have breakfast at hotel.

Relaxing‬ ‭boat‬ ‭ride‬ ‭to‬ ‭explore‬ ‭the‬ ‭picturesque‬ ‭tributaries‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭Hau‬ River, followed by a visit to the bustling Cai Rang Floating Market.‬
‭Visit‬ ‭a‬ ‭local‬ ‭noodle-making‬ ‭factory.‬ ‭Explore‬ ‭Munir‬ ‭Ansay‬ ‭Pagoda,‬ ‭a‬ ‭renowned‬ ‭Khmer‬ ‭pagoda with unique architecture.‬
‭Then, proceed to Son Islet, visit fish farms, fruit orchards, and enjoy seasonal fruits.‬
‭Lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City, ending the tour.‬
